The last two springs I have enjoyed full day trips with Robert. His experience and understanding of all things Bass make him an excellent guide. We have fished Bastrop and LaGrange with a total of 40 bass caught by me on the two trips. He has great equipment, skills and stories that equal a excellent time on the lake! I hope to start doing a couple trips a year with Bassman Austin as he always puts you on the fish!!

A couple of my girlfriends and I (affectionately called the Bass Hoes from WyO)decided that a great day of Bass fishing would be a lot better than a day of shopping. So, who did we call... the Bassman from Austin. We caught some great Bass (18 or so) on a nice mid-December day. We couldn't of had more fun unless we could have fished longer!!! Robert needs to change his name to the "Bass Master" this was the best guided fishing trip I have been on ever! We were on the fish from the start. Robert gave me a fishing experience I will not soon forget. With Roberts expertise I landed a whopper 7 pound large mouth, my largest Bass to date! I obviously can't say enough, just book a trip with Robert and you'll soon know what I'm talking bout.

The title says it all. The man knows fish and how to fish. He was patient and really seemed to enjoy what he was doing. Which made the experience that much better. I've moved from Belgium to Texas a couple of years ago and had never gone fishing until Robert took me out. One my first trip, we caught too many fish to keep track off ! Robert is not only an extremely experienced guide, he also has an incredible level of patience and great personality which make the trip an unforgettable experience. My first fishing trip on a lake since I lived in Alaska over 15 years ago. Robert is a true professional and I think he could catch fish without a rod. I had so much fun on Lake Bastrop! I caught five fish and Robert had to many to even count!!! He will be the only person I want to go fishing with and would love to sponsor him in his future tournaments.
